DISCOVER MY STORY

Creating Space for Black Women to Rest, Reflect, Receive, and Remember Who They Are

BOOK ME TO SPEAK

IN THE GARDEN

A space where Black women can rest, reflect, receive encouragement, and remember who they are—even if it's been a while since they've seen her.

Heyyy, I'm Meghan.

I’m someone who believes in being real, leading with intention, and creating space for people to feel seen and supported — especially in the moments when life feels the heaviest.

My journey has been shaped by both leadership and lived experience, including navigating loss and learning what it truly means to give yourself grace. Because of that, I don’t just speak from knowledge — I speak from a place of understanding.

I’m also a mom, a natural encourager, and the person who will hype you up while still keeping it real. And no matter what season you’re in, I believe this:

You don’t have to have everything figured out to move forward… you just have to be willing to take the next step.

Through her personal story, practical tips, and heartfelt encouragement, Meghan created an experience that felt less like a talk and more like an intimate, meaningful conversation.

She has a rare ability to bring warmth, humor, and grace to a topic that can feel incredibly heavy. Her authenticity immediately draws you in, and her message leaves you feeling seen, supported, and hopeful. She doesn’t just speak to an audience, she connects with them in a powerful and lasting way.

I have loved watching Meghan blossom into the beautiful speaker that she has always wanted to become. While listening to her speak at the speaker symposium, one phrase she said really stuck with me. Give yourself the grace to grieve. It was such a simple reminder, but also such a powerful one. In a world that often expects us to move on quickly, hearing that it’s okay to take the time you need to process whatever kind of loss felt incredibly comforting. Her speech was incredibly thoughtful, compassionate, and something I think many of us truly needed to hear. I felt the room move and breathe as she spoke. It was such a powerful moment.

THE FLOWERS ARE FOR YOU TOO

Many Black women spend their lives encouraging others, celebrating everyone else's accomplishments, and carrying responsibilities that often leave little room for themselves.

As a result, they move from one achievement to the next without ever stopping to acknowledge their own growth.

My message reminds women that they deserve the same encouragement, celebration, and grace they so freely give to everyone else.

Through storytelling, reflection, and interactive experiences, I help audiences:

  • Recognize who they already are

  • Acknowledge how far they've come

  • Practice self-encouragement

  • Receive compliments, praise, and support without minimizing them

  • Celebrate themselves without guilt

  • Reconnect with the woman they've always been

This isn't about becoming someone new.

It's about recognizing who you already are, acknowledging how far you've come, and reminding yourself of who you are—even if it's been a while since you've seen her.

Additional Speaking Topics:

The Grace to Grieve
